Description
Salix alba is most often used by patients to treat headache or pain caused by osteoarthritis, myalgia, gout, and dysmenorrhea. Although components of willow bark include flavonoids and tannins, its pain-relieving properties are attributed to the salicin glycosides present in the compound.
