Description
Rubia cordifolia is a medicinal herb which is widely used in China, Japan and Australia to treat arthritis, rheumatism and dysmenorrhea [58]. Mollugin and furomollugin are the active components from R. cordifolia, shown to possess potent antibacterial activity but weak anti-tyrosinase activity.
