Anti-aging: Mulberrin can extend the lifespan of yeast and C. elegans. It can also promote reproduction in C. elegans.
Antioxidant: Mulberrin has been shown to have antioxidant properties.
Other uses
Mulberrin can also inhibit the uptake of estrone-3-sulfate (E3S), atorvastatin, fluvastatin, and rosuvastatin.
Mulberrin is also known as kuwanon C or mul compoound.
