Description
Horse gram (Macrotyloma uniflorum L.) originated in Peninsular India. This pulse is used both as an ingredient in food and as a green manure. Horse gram seeds have high protein content (22%) and possess various minor nutrients such as vitamin A, riboflavin, thiamine, and nicotinic acids.
