Description
Leontopodium alpinum was used to treat diarrhea and dysentery and as an astringent and tonic against coughs and diphtheria. Traditional German names “strahlendes Ruhrkraut” (“radiant dysentery herb”) and “ Bauchwehblume” (“stomach ache flower”) refer to these indications.
