Euphrasia officinalis is used to treat allergies with bland nasal discharge and profuse watery eye discharge that is irritating (the opposite of Allium cepa). The eyes feel quite irritated, and the patient experiences photophobia and blinking. Coughing is accompanied by watering of the eyes.
