Description
Bergenia stracheyi, known as Pashanbhed (Stone Breaker), is primarily used in Ayurveda for dissolving and expelling kidney/urinary stones (antiurolithic), easing dysuria (painful urination) and cystitis, and acting as a diuretic, while its paste treats skin infections, boils, and stiff joints due to anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also used for coughs, fever, heart ailments, and as a hepatoprotective (liver protector).
