Description
Alpinia galanga (galangal) is used as a culinary herb in the far East, especially Indonesia and Thailand. It has also been used in Ayurvedic medicine. Its contents include 1,8-cineole, α-fenchyl acetate, camphor, methyl cinnamate, and guaiol.
