Kudzu’s root, flower, and leaf are used to make medicine. It has been used in Chinese medicine since at least 200 BC. As early as 600 AD, it was used to treat alcoholism. KUDZU ROOT POWDER
Kudzu root (Gegen in Chinese) is the dried root of Puerarialobata (Willd.) Ohwi, a leguminous vine native to South East Asia, which has been used as a traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of fever, acute dysentery, diarrhoea, thirst, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases for thousands of years.
