Baheda peel (the outer pericarp of Terminalia bellirica, also known as Bibhitaki chilka) is widely used in Ayurvedic and traditional wellness practices. The whole dried peel is typically crushed to make powders (churna) or boiled to make herbal teas and decoctions (kwatha).
